Welcome

LAMPS, Local 104 of the Canadian Federation of Students was founded in the summer of 1969.  LAMPS represents approximately 2500 students studying all year round on campus and around the world via distance education.  Our mission is to represent mature and part-time students, advocate on behalf of our General Membership, and serve and link them to Laurentian University and the community at large.  Our on campus operation or drop in center, offers information, advocacy and refuge for our members and the Laurentian community at large. Our office houses a lounge with a computer and comfortable couch.
